Our blood ph is the star of the day. I will share with you some shocking information that will help you understand better some functions in our body.
You probably already know that after food is digested, absorbed and metabolized, it becomes basic (alkaline) or acidic when is released into the bloodstream.
But what is the pH?
If the food has a higher pH the more alkaline it is and full of oxygen. That means a healthy environment where inflammations, infections and bacteria have no place. On the other hand, the more food has a lower pH, the blood becomes too acidic and deprived of oxygen. That means a “good” environment for infection, pain, inflammation and parasites.
The pH values vary from 0 to 14, the index of 7.0 is considered neutral. All values above 7.0 indicate a greater degree of alkalinity, and values below 7.0 show a higher level of acidity.
The human body keeps the pH in general around 7.35 – 7.45, and the deviation from the indices announce the installation of diseases.
Your diet can make you sick.
Meat, dairy, eggs, fish, cheese, seafood, coffee and the alcohol are highly acidic and the body is forced to neutralize the acidity with calcium and phosphorus from bones and teeth. All this causes the body to suffer from lack of large minerals, brittle bones, heart disease, diabetes and more.

Inuit (Eskimos, born in Greenland) have no access to fruits and vegetables. Their diet is based on fish dishes, whale blubber, etc. They eat fewer grains, and obviously their diet is very acidic. Although they have healthy hearts, their bones begin to deteriorate prematurely, and the Inuit have one of the lowest rates of longevity.
At the opposite pole are the inhabitants of Okinawa, Japan, where people live about 100 years, more than in any other place in the world. Although rice, meat, soy and seafood (very acidic) exist in their diet, it is complemented by a variety of vegetables and fruits rich in antioxidants and minerals, which help counteract the effects of acidity.
Many scientists have studied the acid-alkaline diet and reviled that an alkaline diet is the secret of health and longevity.
Take care of yourself starting from now! Discover alkaline foods that you like and add them to your diet.
Fresh fruits and vegetables;
Lemon juice with warm water in the morning, drink tea instead of coffee (ginger tea);
Replace regular milk with soy, rice, almond or cashew milk;
Replacing butter with avocado and cheese with tofu.
Use a spiralizer for preparing zucchini and cucumber pasta;
Use sea salt and apple vinegar instead of the balsamic;
Drink fresh juices, as a replacement for the ones in the supermarket;
Drink alkaline water with a high pH and lower levels of salt;
Add superfoods in your smoothies as goji, shelled hemp, maca, raw pollen and last but not least … learn to LOVE YOURSELF!
